Dr. Les Clinton, a board-certified family physician, has been practicing in western North Carolina since 1989 and has been practicing medicine since 1976. Dr. Clinton saw that many of his patients' health problems could be helped or even eliminated if they lost weight. He wanted to find a sensible, healthy and sustainable method for overweight patients to lose weight and to maintain a healthy weight for the long term. After researching a number of different diet plans and weight-loss programs, he has determined that the one he offers now is the best by far. It’s not really a diet – Dr. Clinton simply teaches you how to eat correctly – and with our busy lives, most of us have lost sight of the simple facts of how to eat correctly. You'll make changes that last a lifetime.

Karen Barnes

Karen Barnes is the person who runs our office and keeps the appointment schedule. She is also a former patient who knows our eating plan inside and out! She is available to answer your questions and, having learned the plan (and still practicing it), and having lost weight by following our plan, she can often be of great help with tips that make it easier for you and can help you be sure you understand how to calculate the calories.
Being overweight is too often viewed as a temporary problem that can be solved with a few months of a strenuous and often misery-causing diet. That is simply not true – as most overweight people know, weight control must be considered a lifelong effort. You must change your lifestyle and your dietary habits. To be safe and effective, any weight-loss program must take a long-term approach – or it is a waste of time, money and effort. Weigh To Health takes the long-term approach, and we help you develop a better dietary lifestyle so that you can maintain your weight loss.
